Scenes from the Phantasm Zoo began as a project in live photography of animals. It wasn't until several months after the original shoot at the Audubon Zoo that I decided to take a decidedly surreal twist to the final images. There is nothing more intriguing to me than taking every day images and transforming them into something that is just one step away from reality. In all honesty, this is how I see the world most of the time anyway. Check back for new additions.
