The Pandemic Archive - Artist Eric Amoakwa-Boadu

Wear a mask, save a life. This is a painting I did during Lockdown in London to spread the message of love , hope and faith through the eyes of keeping each other safe during this pandemic of Covid19

Medium: Acrylic on canvas
Size: 40 inches x 30 inches

Born in London, England in 1975, Eric returned to Ghana, West Africa with his parents at an early age. He returned to the UK in his early twenties and pursued his first degree and Masters in Mechanical Engineering but all this while, he never lost sight of his artistic talent. His works are highly influenced by telling positive African stories and addressing socioeconomic issues that bring an emotional connection to the viewer. He works mainly in Acrylic with palette knife and brilliantly achieves 3D effects with his impasto technique.
