Artist of the Day - Oswin Gesselli

NOTES ON THIS ARTIST:

Its difficult to create a figurative painting and abstraction at the same time. It takes skills to allow you to know what your seeing but veil it in layers of abstraction that create a surreal atmosphere around the figure. Oswin seems to truly understand this process and creates masterpieces with it. His piece "The Look" is probably my favorite because the woman sinks right into the canvas to the point of almost being lost within it. Excellent work.
