This piece is just a visualization of my perspective as an American citizen living in Canada looking in at all that’s going on (not that Canada is perfect, I’m just still thinking about what I want to make about what’s going here). I’m submitting my painting and I also just wanted to write something about the current situation from my what I can see. I don’t really have anything to say about myself but I do wanna make it clear before I submit this that I’m an non black POC so I know I’ll never really understand what it’s like to be black in America and that this is just my view from what I’ve seen so far. I’m happy to take any criticism on this if I said something wrong so I can try to understand better
