Black Lives Matter Archive - Artist Eric Amoakwa-Boadu

"I CAN'T BREATHE"

Medium: Acrylic on canvas
Size: 40 inches x 30 inches

My latest painting to add my voice to bring change and end the injustice against the black race. All humans are created equal. The stars represent those that have been taken from us...Then the stripes represent their blood that was shed which is speaking louder to the whole world that this must STOP🛑 ...So be part of the change.

"LOVE CONQUERS ALL"

Medium: Acrylic on canvas
Size: 40 inches x 30 inches

Bio

Born in London, England in 1975, Eric returned to Ghana, West Africa with his parents at an early age. He returned to the UK in his early twenties and pursued his first degree and Masters in Mechanical Engineering but all this while, he never lost sight of his artistic talent. His works are highly influenced by telling positive African stories and addressing socioeconomic issues that bring an emotional connection to the viewer. He works mainly in Acrylic with palette knife and brilliantly achieves 3D effects with his impasto technique.
