I know no other way to function in life than to create art in response to life. I feel like I've never created art that matters more than these "Solidarity" fists. I am grateful to have had a positive response to their creation and I am happy to have been able to donate $250 (so far) from sales to the Los Angeles Action Bail Fund.
My art outside of revolution times primarily revolves around mental health issues. I have bipolar disorder and I cope with my manic ups and depression downs by creating art about it. This art generally takes the form of photography or embroidery. I have a series called "Pill-Up Girls" where I recreate pin-up girl images using medication bottles as the primary props.
