The first three drawings are from my current series where I try to draw more people of colour and especially black people in order to broaden my skills and create more inclusive and less westernized character art. The last drawing was done as an immediate expression of grief and shame towards everything going on in the world right now and towards my own shameful past behaviour that I wish to grow from.

I'm Jiayueri, a mixed white/asian 18 year old artist who works mainly digitally and looking to branch out into animation. I hope to contribute to the BLM movement in any way possible, including through my work.
