Jassy created her latest art pieces in honor of the life of George Floyd, in dedication to the future of his daughter Gianna Floyd, to stand with Black Lives Matter and to spread a very important message.
“Anti-Racism is not a trend – it needs to be a change into the system. Period!”
BIO
Jassy is a creative artist from The Netherlands living a two continent life between Europe and the USA since she was a teenager.
She has a background in both Performing Arts as well as Fine Arts and has been working for the past decade as a freelance illustrator and content creator.
Due to her personal journey in relation to MeToo in entertainment, health issues and coming out as a Bisexual, Jassy started to create art connected to certain visions and statements and advocating for several communities and movements since 2019.
She is launching her own creative platform Summer 2020 and with that she wants to contribute to as many movements she believes in, speak unapologetic about taboos and break through taboos. She wants to stand against racism, sexual harassment and bullying, raise awareness for mental health and speak openly about sexuality. Creating an outlet for herself and for others.
She believes that she has found her true purpose, combining her own dreams along with her qualities and creativity and using them to turn her own battles and scars into something great, to not only better herself but also contribute to better the world for this generation and the next.
Jassy wants to make a difference – one little rainbow at a time
