Artist: Eman Elnezami
Location: Egypt
Work of Art: Ghosts in Blue

Oil painting on canvas 12" x 16"

Shades. Figures with blurry borders are all over the space. You will find the dullness of the blue, the anger and the aggressiveness of the ghosts and their fights. Anger, fear, anxiety may come up for you as strong emotions while your head dwells on the imagination of the different shadows.

On the Right is a big female figure in blue, with this wondering look of angst on her face and pouting lips, evolving anxiety from what she is looking at as well. Opposite to her is as mall female figure who is more like a witch with her green face and blue strangely formed face.

She is opening her mouth in amazement for what she is seeing. Little ghosts are in the bottom fighting, quarreling, pointing at one another in hazy forms, some are running, others are falling, and others are fighting.

The background will raise dark emotions from you as it did form from muddy green together with the blue.

Added to this is the ORANGE color that is around the shapes of ghosts to create and emphasize the anger and furious situation everyone is entangled in.

The big green and yellowish eye at the TOP is watching all of that looking with a sharp  look while every other ghost is busy fighting, it is like the EYE with the broader view for everything which is there and the guard to all what is coming. The eye in red with green sclera is in the middle between the two female figures acts like a shield between them!

Sink deeply into the painting and allow yourself to be lost in it. What emotions came up for you? Did you see yourself in any figure? What peculiar situation came up for you while seeing this? Release your emotions meditating into the painting!

I am a physician, who started using oil painting as my own tool to release stress and HEAL my own inner soul . I believe the emotional art is a bridge between your inner-self and outer appearance. I used them as following; put intention into a painting everyday like motivation and dive into some part for ex the eyes, I see something that motivates me forward.Whatever intention you put, you get . Also being in contact with different people every single day made me carry emotions that are not mine and I needed a channel to get them through, exciting thing happened, every single one of them contains mixed amount of emotions so you will find at least one emotion that you will feel. I paint interactions between people as well, woman and her child, coworkers, friends .These are similar to everyday interactions. Something in common in all my work. You will feel something! I use oil on canvas in all my work. I fell in love with the similarity between emotions of human kind, it is all the same! Instead of feeling the pain inside I strongly believe that you can get them up in front of you seeing, acknowledging and releasing them . Take as much time as you would like in front of them.
