I think there are few people who live along the banks of the Mississippi who don't take a photo or two of it. The river can be angry, happy, dirty and even flirty at times. Exploring its emotions is part of understanding the river.
I have a small obsession with dinosaurs. They flit through my work like giant wraiths. So its only logical that I would often see them in the great river from time to time. These two were feeding in the morning mist just before the sun rose. A quiet sheltered eddy, mostly hidden from site. Perfect for mythical behemoths to break their fast beneath the tangled branches.
