The Process
This series uses Dirty Imprinting. Dirty Imprinting is the digital art method of rendering the body down to just hard lines of black and white and then imprinting an abstract pattern over it to the point where the body almost becomes invisible within the abstraction. This is called the Abstraction Point. This works best on body painted models as it adds an additional layer of abstraction to the process.
This series was experimental and led directly to using the Abstraction Point in other art forms including landscapes and architecture. Its still something I'm seeking to understand better and come back to continually as a method. Their is still a lot to understand about it.
In the end Abstraction Point is abstract art with a twist.
